WAGS has been broadcasting since the 1950’s. Today, we run radio the same way it was in the 50’s – as a real community member, with real people, really making local decisions about what to play and what to say.
WAGS & WJDJ is a partnership of James D. and Delores E. Jenkins. WAGS Radio was purchased in November 2000, in fulfillment of a lifelong dream. WJDJ was added in May 2002.

And it works. Who says so? June 2005 survey by “Ratings With Results” gives WAGS-AM tops in the morning and tops overall in survey counties of Lee, Darlington, and Florence, comparing both AM and FM stations.
WAGS & WJDJ together took a 17% share of the market for total listeners. Strong in the 25 through 49 age group with 40% female and 60% male.
